Booked on the Thursday morning for 7 nights starting the following day. We got a message at 10pm to say it wasn’t actually available and to go to airbnb to cancel and get a refund. Tried this and the Airbnb site stated that we could only get a refund if the host cancelled from her end. Meantime Anne phoned and I explained this to her and she said it was me who needed to do it and that she would probably lose money. After 2 days of sending her messages and now paid for 2 rental properties I had no reply. Contacted Airbnb who tried to contact her and after no reply to them they refunded me as they could see the message that she had originally sent stating it wasn’t available. Thanks to Airbnb for resolving it. Things happen but you need to face up to it and look after your customer.
