Perfect location for holiday in Pickering and surroundings. A fabulous home from home for the two of us. House is compact but beautifully formed. Parking outside very useful and we always managed to get a space. Would return if ever in the area again.

Candy's instructions were very clear. Check in was easy. Cottage was warm, very clean and smelt great! Double bed was amazingly comfy with a 13.5 tog feather duvet (What's not to like!!!).... The lemon cakes were a nice thought too. We visited Whitby, Goathland (Heartbeat) and Thornton le Dale (Mathewson's Car auctions) All in all a lovely couple of days the sun was out too. The only negative was.... couldn't eat out or get a takeaway as it was a Tuesday. However Lidl and the Co op are open till really late. Thanks Candy my husband loved his birthday trip!!!

Lovely little cottage in great location for accessing Pickering on foot, and for heading up to Dalby Forest or the coast by car. Had everything we needed including travel cot and high chair.

Candy's place in Pickering was a really great find for our trip. No issues checking in, although there were no parking spaces in front of the apartment when we arrived. We had to pay for an hour or so of parking down the street and move the vehicle later when one opened up. People come and go from the free spots by the apartment often, but it can be a bit of a waiting game during busy times. We loved the space, though! Directions were clear and there were great recommendations for the area. LOTS of food options right next door, including a nice pub, pizza takeaway, and an Indian restaurant. The beds were very comfortable. We greatly enjoyed lounging about the living room in the evenings. A note for dog owners: there isn't a lot of green grass nearby - we went across the street but it was pretty muddy. Definitely not a big issue, but we had to walk around a bit with the pups. Overall, highly recommend. Candy was also a pleasure to meet when we ran into her during checkout!

Centre of Pickering, close to all sites and restaurants. Just what we needed. Nice and warm on a very cold snowy week.
