The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is a dream. My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette trip and it was the perfect spot and fit 9 of us very comfortably. We felt right at home. The best part about it is that South congress is right down the road is only a 10 min walk to get to all the restaurants and stores. Which saved us so much money on parking. Additionally the supermarket H-E-B was a close walk as well. The location is amazing. The only bad experience we had was that the AC was broken when we checked in and we had to go the first night there without it. Which, in almost 90 degree weather, is absolutely miserable. BUT the host was very responsive and did everything he could to help fix the situation which was extremely appreciative and we were so happy that he scheduled an emergency service to get the AC running again for us. I would for sure come back to this property if all of my friends and I wanted to visit Austin again.

We had a wonderful time staying at the most beautiful bungalow that is in the perfect location for shopping and eating your way through Congress street! Highly recommend!!!

Beautifully renovated home with lots of thoughtful touches. Our host, Dakota, was also very responsive and accommodating. We were very appreciative about an early check-in and he also went out of his way to bring over a travel crib for us to use during our stay. The location is also excellent. Super walkable to South Congress which has plenty to see, eat, and do. It's also easy to get to many other locations in Austin. It was perfect for our family of 5 (my husband and I, 5 year old, and my mid 60s parents). One thing worth noting is that the master suite is in a converted basement area down a steep flight of stairs. The room itself is lovely, but the steep stairs might pose some challenges for those with mobility issues or very young children. That minor note aside, we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay in an excellent location and very well appointed home. The only reason that’s not a five star review is because of a row of four incredibly flimsy barstools, three of which were falling apart, and one that actually collapsed underneath one of our guests, who is not a large man or doing anything out of the ordinary. I immediately complained to the host and ask for replacements, sending photos, and the host immediately replied and said that they would ask the owners what they would to do, and then never said another word about it several more days into the trip. I am an Airbnb, and ever picky about such things, but this was a genuine safety issue, and my friend would’ve been hurt had he not caught himself on the counter, and the other three will definitely collapse similarly if they do not replace them.
