A Few of our Beaches
Martinique Beach
Martinique Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Nova Scotia. Stretching an incredible 3.7 kilometres it is the province's longest sandy beach. This is the beach to visit for surfing, exploring and bird watching. Surf lessons and board and wetsuit rentals are available at the beach. Located 51 km east of Dartmouth on the 107 Martinique Beach has a lot of parking, picnic areas, boardwalks, a huge crystal rock, washrooms and change rooms.
Stunning ocean views from our Cottage are located minutes away from Martinique.
Lawrencetown Beach
Lawrencetown is known for its surf. Waves can climb higher than 4 m. Conditions are excellent for skilled surfers and bodyboarders. Surf lessons and board and wetsuit rentals are available at the beach. The beach hosts the September Storm Classic surf competition and the Kite Festival every year. It can be found 23 km east of Dartmouth on route number 207. The beach has a lot of parking, a beautiful boardwalk, washrooms and change rooms.

Clam Harbour Beach
Home of the Sandcastle Festival held annually in August.
This is a beautiful, wide, white, sandy beach. Clam Harbour is a great place to swim with children, this is a beginner surfer spot. If you walk to the left on the beach you'll be pleasantly surprised by the secret cove beaches, explore and hike even further to see locally named ‘ Mini Ovens’, a small cavern where the high tide shoots water high into the air.

Sober Island Oysters Farm Tour
($135.00/person tax not included):
Weather permitting. Minimum 6 people per tour. Full refund available due to weather conditions.
Farm tours consists of
1st Oyster shucking demo/lessons and eating of raw oysters
2nd Boat tour of water-based operation with grilled oysters on the back beach
3rd Finish with deep fried oysters & chips
June 15th- Sept 15th weather permitting. One weeks notice .
2 tours per day 12:30pm and 2pm start time
