This was our second stay here. Our first trip we were in the upper barn, and this trip we were in the lower barn. We were there for over two weeks so we needed a bit more space. Lots of room for everything, very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make lovely breakfasts and dinners. We enjoyed grilling in the evenings on the expansive deck. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were as described and worked well for us. Skip and Lara as always are so very friendly and helpful. This is such a charming place and we will be back again. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for another fantastic trip!

Quixote Farm is a MUST stay. Skip and Lara have created the most beautiful and peaceful environment: gorgeous views, designer interiors with thoughtful details, sensational food & experiences, and a property that exceeded expectations. If you haven't spent much time in North SD county, this place will make you fall in love...it feels worlds away. The lower barn was beautifully appointed with vintage furnishings, comfy beds, coffee table books, vintage ceramics, and a full dining room. What a catch in an AirBNB! We stayed grown-ups only, but it would be perfect for our young kids! There are horses on-property and acres of citrus groves/land to hike and explore. Pro tip: DEFINITELY pre-book the Sunset Charcuterie, and as many meals as you can...the Coq a Vin was sensational. I only regret not ordering breakfasts! The real magic of Quixote Farm is Skip and Lara themselves. They are so warm and inspiring and their farm left us rejuvenated by the country and hospitality. Will be back!

Quixote Farm and the Lower Barn was a perfect place for our Sisters weekend. Two of us had been there before and loved it so much that we wanted to share it with our other sisters. From the sunset on the hilltop to the delicious scones the “extras” are worth every penny. We would go back in a heartbeat. 💗

This place is so relaxing with charming Spanish/farmhouse decor and the natural beauty of the orange orchard and horses. We could smell the oranges from all of the trees around. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle to a comfortable ABnB to relax this is the place. Only 30 minutes from cute antique shops and the drive is so gorgeous! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the owners were great communicators and very helpful. I’d love to stay again and again!

I was looking for a place for my sister and I to spend our sister's weekend. This was the perfect combination of luxury, away from it all, immersed in nature, and close enough to other activities when needed. As soon as we drove up, we could tell this was going to be great. There were horses next to the barn, wide open area, tons of fruit trees, and the air was crisp and clean. When we walked into the barn where we were staying, I was surprised because it was even nicer than the pictures showed. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail that made all the difference. My sister and I joked that we just wanted to stay. The bedrooms were wonderful with poster beds, comfy mattresses, luxurious bedding, and beautiful pillows. If you're someone who appreciates these things, you'll love this place. Everything else is just as great! Lara is awesome - she took us on a tour of their property and we had a great chatting away while seeing everything up close. Thank you!
