Our family enjoyed the stay. It’s in a great location away from noise but close enough to get to the beach, just a very short walk. Denise was wonderful and communicative and made sure that I had internet to work during our trip. While we didn’t get to stay the entire duration she made us feel comfortable we would stay again.

We felt so welcomed and very at home. The space was well appointed, cosy, quiet, a hop, skip, and a jump from the water, and if you enjoy deer watching you are in for a treat.

The cottage was a perfect location to enjoy Lake Michigan AND Muskegon lake, Lakeside bars and restaurants, and very close to Muskegon’s “Social District”. We enjoyed the privacy, the deer that hung out in the back woods, and the friendly neighbors. We took advantage of the walking trails, walks along the shore of Lake Michigan to the lighthouse, and the amazing sunsets. The cottage has everything imaginable to make our stay easy and modern. “The Deck”, a restaurant, bar, and a music venue was a short walk from the cottage. It served as a happy hour, or a quick Walleye slider with slaw or their famous BBQ! Great time was had by all!!!

Sankofa was a BEAUTIFUL cottage! We loved that it was right across from the beach, yet private in the woods as well. Seeing deer and other wildlife every day was a fun surprise especially being so close to the beach. The cottage was very comfortable and clean. The front porch was perfect for getting cozy and reading while looking out at the water. We can't wait to return!

Great place to stay. The surround nature and beach were beautiful. Highly recommend for a pair of couples.
