Enjoy a relaxing peaceful getaway on an island! This home, off the San Bernard River, is nestled between the "Justin Hurst" and "San Bernard" National Wildlife Refuge; It's a haven for avid anglers and bird watchers alike! A great little getaway to make treasured memories with family and friends. Inside, the home has a large living room, 2 large bed rooms with 2 queen size beds each, 1 full bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen. Outside, there a spacious balcony/deck to hang out and enjoy the views. The balcony stairway takes you straight to a private fishing dock. At night there is a fire pit with hanging string lights to enjoy the serene atmosphere out on the river. Whether your looking to have a fun fishing trip or just a quiet relaxing weekend, the River House Getaway is a great way to decompress and enjoy the little things.

the house was amazing, everything was just as we saw it in the ad. if you like to fish this is the place to go, we have never caught so many fish at one time, in one place. it is a great place to get away, very quiet and private. the neighbors are so kind helpful and friendly, our next vacation we hope to stay in the same place if available.
If you love to go fishing and crabbing, this is the perfect place to stay!
It was a very nice house. Fishing wasn't very good but could of been weather/wrong time of year. Several things such as outdoor lighting did not work and I didn't get a response when I reached out so we just had to do without.
My family and I had a great time! The place is beautiful inside and out! Caught lots of fish and made lots of memories! Love the fire pit area! The beds slept great and the kitchen has everything you need! We will definitely be back!
We fished a lot. Loved the peacefulness.
