Peter is a really great host. He is very friendly and was very helpful before and during my stay. It was my first time using AirB&B and everything was new to me. But Peter made all the communication very easy. I appreciated Peter’s flexibility as I was not sure when exactly I will arrive. I absolutely loved the house - it’s so neat and tidy! Everything was so clean. The house itself is newly renovated. The room was so lovely - it was warm and quiet. A big advantage to me was the ability to charge my EV. Thank you so much for making me feel at home Peter! I will definitely stay in your house again if I come back to the island. 👍

Peter was very friendly and quick to respond. He was a very welcoming host and made it easy to share facilities with him. Quiet location despite being close to the main road. There is a lovely stream at the end of the lane near the house with a bridge to walk up to the castle. Easy to use the frequent buses to get to and from Newport and other locations, less than 5 minutes walk to the bust stop! We also walked back from Newport one evening and it only took 30 minutes. The only downside is there is just one bathroom and toilet and it is downstairs but this information is clearly stated and it wasn’t a problem.

Peter is a friendly host. He made me welcome on my arrival and showed me around. The house is located in a very quiet road. Carisbrooke castle within a short walk from the property. I had a very nice stay and will seek to return and stay longer.

We have truly loved living in this cottage. Since we walked in on the first day, we felt like home. We spent three weeks here as we worked on the island. The cottage is in a very peaceful and lovely location. Just a short walk to Carisbrooke castle (there is a footpath by the cottage) and to the centre of Newport. There is also a big park nearby, a small Co-op shop and a bus stop to Newport just across the road. We had two cars, one parked in the driveway and another one in the small road in front of the house. Peter, the host, has been very nice since we arrived. He is very friendly and likes chatting with his guests. He has looked after us very well, topping up with water bottles, wine and biscuits; changed the bed linens and the towels every week. We truly appreciated every little gesture and his kindness. He has been very helpful. Thank you. 😊
