We loved our short stay in the cowshed. It’s really well-equipped with a spacious living room and kitchen downstairs and 2 comfortable bedrooms upstairs. The outside area is nice too, in a rural setting with lovely views and plenty of walks nearby. It’s a little off the beaten track with a short drive along narrow lanes, but the instructions to find it are good. A perfect place to relax.

Lovely 2 night stay - peaceful location, spotless accommodation, great views and a very short drive into town. Hope to return again. It might be useful to know we found the beds very soft/springy which might not suit everyone but it’s a personal preference!!

The Cow Shed was a fabulous stay for our young family of 4. The cottage was peaceful and is in such beautiful surroundings. Co-hosts Cressida, Justin and Matthew were always so responsive and helpful, at any time of day. Their mum who lives onsite at the main farmhouse was so kind and welcoming - a highlight of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed berry and nut picking on her farm - thank you, again. The kitchen is well equipped (although minor could do with additional cutlery/utensils for a week long stay like ours and a bigger fridge). The bathroom was spotless and the washer/tumble very handy. All the beds were clean and comfortable. The pizza oven was a plus and thank you for the dough balls. We look forward to returning to try out the cottage next door, once completed.
