The superior apartment offers a more spacious and wheelchair-accessible layout, making it ideal for guests with specific mobility needs. It features a comfortable double bed (150x200cm) accommodating two guests. Located on the ground floor with a street view. The apartment includes a private bathroom with a shower, towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The private kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, kettle, dishwashing liquid, sponge, and rack. Instant Coffee is also provided. Linens with feather duvets and pillows are included. No extra beds or baby cribs can be provided we are afraid.

We had a wonderful stay. Lovely surroundings. The apartment was spotless and very comfy. Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful place & good location. But it was difficult to enter the apartment with the luggage from the parking lot as the place was covered with snow
We had to find an Airbnb since ours got cancelled by the host the day of, we found this one and were at around 5 pm and were able to go and relax after a very stressful situation so thank you for that. The Airbnb is in a facility that has 5 other units so you enter in a sort of « lobby » or hallway. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was more than usable, with everything you need. Bathroom is very nice also. Our only complaint was the snow kind of made it difficult to access the facility since it a path hadnt been made but other than that it was a perfect stay! Thank you!

Located just around the corner of the amazing Golden Circle but as well close to the South Coast of Iceland!
Flúðir is only 15 min drive from the property and Gullfoss and Geysir are about 40 min drive away.
We recommend you to stop at this really amazing environmentally friendly greenhouse Friðheimar and try their awesome tomato soup!
The Secret Lagoon is at Flúðir, the perfect place to relax at after exploring the Golden Circle.
Fontana Geothermal Bath is at Laugarvatn about 1-hour drive from our property.
Laugarvatns-caves "The Cave People" is a unique place to visit to see how the last people in Iceland lived in a cave!
Thingvellir National Park is one of two of Iceland's Unesco World Heritage sites.
Not far away from the property you can drive to Árnes - Thjorsardalur to see Háifoss, Hjálparfoss, and Gjáin - this really cool scenic place where Game of Thrones was for example shot.
Hekla Volcano is in that area as well and you can on a good day have a view over Hekla, Tindfjöll mountains, and Eyjafjallajökull Glacier from your window!
When staying for a longer time with us you'll be able to explore the south coast better;
Hella and Hvölsvöllur towns where you'll be able to visit Lava Center!
Seljalandsfoss waterfall (the one you can walk behind), The Black sand beach in Vík, Skógafoss and so much more!
There is no shuttle bus going to the farm. The only way to get there is by car. We recommend renting from Átak. To find the cabin, start by driving to the Sellfoss. From Selfoss, you will take directions to Flúðir by road nr 30. The distance is 130km and the approximate trip time is about 1,5-2 hours, depending on the road/ weather conditions.
Public Transportation:
The public transportation company in Iceland is Strætó. The buses are going to Flúðir from Reykjavík but the journey can take up to 6 hours. Once you have arrived at Flúðir, the distance to the property is about 12 kilometers. There is no public transport between Flúðir and the farm. The walk can take over 3 hours.
Note: you cannot pay with a card for the public buses in Reykjavík. You must download an app or pay with change/coins - the bus driver cannot pay you back if you don't have the exact amount. You can download the Klapp app.
Taxi
Taxis are always available at the airport or downtown. To book a taxi you can call or get the Hreyfill App. This option can be VERY expensive, so check costs before ordering.
Otherwise, we recommend that you arrive with your rental car, it is much easier :)

Hi and welcome to Klettar! Our property is located at a farm in the south of Iceland. Me and my wife take care of the property. We have lived at the farm for many years and we have a friendly dog that walks around the area free. We look forward to welcome you!
