A lovely peaceful retreat. This is a custom-built fully equipped home on the Feather River tucked into the tall pines on the hillside. Relax and enjoy the views from inside or outside on the wraparound deck. Just at the top of the ridge, the clickety clack of the train with a melancholy whistle is heard in the distance throughout the valley. As you drive through the Sierra valley you’re sure to spot quaint landmarks, barn quilts, cattle, yaks, deer and other wildlife. Nestled between Graeagle and Blairsden, the cabin is well equipped for families or friends looking to enjoy the mountain air. Comfortably sleeps 13, with bedrooms, both upstairs and downstairs. The master bedroom is located on the downstairs level with a king size bed and private bathroom. The 3 remaining downstairs bedrooms are equipped with queen size bed and private porch access. The upstairs loft is a great space for kids or joint groups with a futon, full size bed, and twin bed. There is also a dedicated workspace if you have to check some emails during your stay! The upstairs TV has an abundance of DVDs for a classic cabin experience. The kitchen has all the essentials you could need to cook and prepare a meal. We encourage barbecuing on the patio and encourage our guests to enjoy the patio sets with extra seating. Enjoy morning coffee or afternoon happy hour on the wrap around porch with views of the Feather River and peaceful sounds of nature. The cabin has an abundance of private parking and garage use is available.
