This unique place has a style all its own. Coconut Cabin is a luxury small property nestled amongst palm trees, nature, and 150m away from the beautiful Hiriketiya bay. The property has one double bedroom, living area, a small kitchen and air conditioning . There is wi-fi and all modern amenities you would need for your holiday in paradise. This stylish and unique cabin is perfect for singles or couples looking for a beach retreat, surrounded by nature, with only a short walk to the surf! The property is small and cozy, perfect for 1 or 2 people. The property is in amongst trees and nature, so don't be surprised to encounter wildlife and insects. After all, this is a tropical paradise.

We loved our stay at Coconut Cabin! We couldn’t have asked for a better location and Andy was super friendly and helpful with lots of great recommendations. The cabin itself was lovely and we saw monkeys in the surrounding trees. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Hiriketiya!
A really lovely find. Booked for a little luxury for my last couple of days in Sri Lanka after 2 weeks of hostel hopping. A quiet, thoughtful & private space only a short walk from the idyllic beach. I would return gleefully to it to reset after being out and about each day. Andy was always responsive making check in/out easy, as well as sorting an airport transfer for me in the small hours of the morning. If I return to Hiriketiya 🤞🏻 I’d stay here again without hesitation.
Die Coconut Cabin von Andy liegt perfekt, nur wenige Minuten vom Hiriketiya Beach und auch fußläufig zum Dickwella Beach und zahlreichen Restaurants und Bars. Die süße Außenkabine für Dusche und Toilette war richtig sauber und perfekt für eine schnelle Dusche nach dem Strand, ohne das Haus betreten zu müssen. Andy war ein toller Gastgeber, der sofort auf alle Nachrichten geantwortet hat und uns sogar eine kleine Gaskochfläche besorgt hat, damit wir morgens unser Frühstück zubereiten konnten. Das Haus an sich ist allerdings recht klein und nicht gut zu belüften, weswegen es immer etwas dunkel, stickig und feucht ist. Leider gab es im Haus auch keine wirklich gemütliche Ecke zum einfach abhängen, aber dafür haben wir uns viel auf der Terrasse aufgehalten.
Andys Place just opened up and it’s absolutely lovely!! I stayed quite some time in Hiri before, but this place is really something else. A beautiful little house in the middle of the jungle! You get to meet many animals during your stay. The house had everything you needed and is only about 3 minute walk from the ocean. Would absolutely recommend to stay here. Andy was super friendly, helpful and replied very fast. Great times !

Coconut Cabin is a luxury small property nestled amongst palm trees, 150m away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The stunning cove that is Hiriketiya is world famous for its horseshoe shape and perfect surf breaks.
Coconut Cabin is well equipped and has 2 gardens where you can sit immersed in Sri Lankan nature, away from the busier area of central Hiriketiya. There are beach restaurants within 100m of the property and after a day in the surf you can enjoy a refreshing hot or cold rinse in our private outdoor shower.
Everywhere can be walked in Hiriketiya. If you want to go further there a tuks available near the beach. If you want to hire a car or scooter please let me know and I can arrange.

Hey, I'm Andy, previously of Wales, UK, now Sri Lanka. A few years ago I made the decision to move from my cold little country, to a stunning tropical little island called Sri Lanka. I'm obsessed with this place and work for multiple charities here, helping the millions of street dogs on the island.
