Carla’s beautiful home is the most incredible place to stay in SB! It is unique, comfortable, gorgeous with breathtaking 360 views, and also incredibly conveniently located to State Street, the Funk Zone, and everywhere. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Carla is a generous, kind, and very communicative host and we felt so welcome! Thank you, Carla!!

Pros: Stunning spot perched above town. Interesting views and visual delights. Beautiful art and furniture. Lovely hosts and friendly welcome. Things to consider: it is in a busy area, so there will be road noise when windows are open or you’re on the decks. Floors were quite dirty during our stay but hopefully that hiccup is worked out with the cleaning crew. Bathtub inoperable during our stay - so be sure to check in on that detail. Otherwise, a special experience in an incredibly walkable location! Thank you!

Carla’s penthouse was our home base for the 3 nights we spent leading up to our courthouse wedding. Carla’s place fit everything we were looking for — close to everything including restaurants and beach, super comfortable and spacious, plus a little bit extra — quirky and special.

The description is accurate — Seuss meets Gaudi. But it’s also a functional, clean, and well-equipped home with lots of amenities (2.5 bathrooms and sleeps a family), an excellent and accessible location, and tons of spaces to hang and enjoy both inside and out. The roof terrace was a special space we used a lot to hang, enjoy a drink, eat dinner, and take in the 360-degree view that shows all of the key spots in Santa Barbara. The location is pretty urban as it is in a mixed-use area near the Funk Zone, so be prepared.

We loved the house, location and especially the rooftop. Fireworks were amazing from the rooftop as well as the expansive views of the city. Glad to have secure parking as well as options right in front of the house on the street. Easily walkable to most anywhere, especially to the awesome Funk Zone! The house, architecture and decorations are fantastic! Thanks for the great communication, Carla.
