Situated on a much sort after private residential road in the heart of Davenport, Stockport. This apartment offers all the modern comforts whilst retaining many of its period features. The apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a comfortable living area and open-plan kitchen. Free off-street parking is available directly outside the front of the property. The apartment was great for our needs, visiting nearby relatives. We ate in throughout our stay, the kitchen was really well equipped and all the appliances worked well. All the linen and towels were spotless and fresh. There was plenty of hot water at all times and the heating was good. A lovely, nicely decorated apartment. We parked on the street because, as stated by another reviewer, the allocated space was always full. Street parking was no problem however and right outside the apartment. Walking distance from a range of local shops including an excellent butcher.
A very nice, spacious apartment in a pleasant, leafy area of Stockport. The decor was lovely and the stained glass windows were beautiful. Clean and well-equipped, everything in good working order. I would advise any future guests to avoid the on-site parking and park on the street instead. It's a private road and there's plenty of space. I parked in my allocated bay, but someone had taken it when I returned on Saturday afternoon. I advised the host and parked in another bay. Another resident then blocked me in with their 4x4. I had to knock on their door on Sunday morning to get out, and the resident was rather arsey about it. It's fortunate I had nowhere urgent to be that morning or the evening before. Not the host's fault, but something for guests to be aware of.
The apartment is ideally positioned to take advantage of some excellent local amenities. It is just a short stroll to Davenport village offering a range of bars, restaurants, and local shops offering fresh homemade/cooked produce.
For food lovers Stockport is home to its famous 'Foodie Friday' which takes place on the last Friday of every month. The festival attracts hundreds of people and offers a wide range of food stalls. Great for a relaxing night out with friends.
If football is more your thing, Stockport County football ground is 5 minutes away by car, tickets can be purchase directly at the ground on match days.
Cale Green Park is just a 5-minute walk from the apartment. A popular local attraction with its bowling green, tennis court, basketball court, playground and stunning gardens.
Davenport Train Station is a short walk from the apartment and has trains running every 15 minutes into Manchester City Centre. There are local bus links every 3 minutes and the M60 motorway network close by.

Davenport train station is a 5 minute walk away and has regular trains into Manchester which take 17 minutes.
