Like this place very much Private and everything you need
We were looking for a place to stay to view the solar eclipse. When we checked in, we noticed mouse droppings throughout the lower level of the house, all over the foosball table, on the floors, stairs going up to the main part of the house. The droppings were by the entryway, under the kitchen sink, scattered throughout the house, with minimal amounts in the bedroom closets and bedroom floors. We were told by the Vacasa staff that this was to be expected and they were unable to clean thoroughly due to the business associated with the eclipse. note that they did offer to send a cleaning service, however we were uncomfortable with that as we would not be home and our small dog was at the house. We cleaned the majority of the mouse droppings from the main level and stayed out of the lower level due to the droppings. The manager spoke with my husband and offered to waive the cleaning fee, which we said would be acceptable. However, they never followed through and didn’t refund the money

Very nice property with plenty of space. The deck is huge and view of the pond in back was enjoyed while drinking our coffee in the morning. We ran into a couple of minor issues, but nothing unreasonable. There was a leak from one of the showers that went into basement, for which we received a quick reply. The house and property itself are worthy of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the experience with Vacasa leading up to our arrival was by far the worst I've experience with any rental on any site. The "special team" that works on the NYS Housing forms is completely incompetent and wasted a good amount of our time. They also caused stress leading up to our arrival because the level of incompetence and horrible communication left us not feeling confident that Vacasa was organized in general. Even after calling and spending 30 minutes to confirm they had received the forms, they continued to send them via. the app and email. Experience with Vacasa was a 2 star experience at best.
