The Hayedo building was made for short term rentals and comes with all the top requested amenities such as 24/7 security, elevators, free parking, rooftop swimming pool and a basic gym. This 2-bed / 2.5-bath penthouse apartment with two private balconies and a roof top pool is the biggest unit in the entire building. It is located in one of the best short term rental buildings that Cali has to offer, a brand new project called Hayedo de Juanambú. The total size of the space including the balcony is 107 m2 / 1151 sqft. ★ BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS ★ The master bedroom has a king bed, direct access to the balcony and private bathroom through the walk-in closet. It has air conditioning and a 50" SmartTV that connects to all the streaming apps. There is also a blackout curtain to keep sunlight out and assure a good night's sleep. The second bedroom comes with a queen bed, has a big closet, 43" SmartTV, and air conditioning. It also has direct access to the second balcony. The bathroom is accessed directly from the bedroom. Both bathrooms come with towels, floor mats, and a starter kit of toilet paper, shampoo, body soap, and conditioner. ★ BALCONIES ★ The balconies are generous in size and is the perfect place to soak in the warm Cali climate, read a book or enjoy the company of someone you like over snacks and drinks. One comes with a view of the city and the other one with a view of the mountain. ★ KITCHEN & DINING ★ The kitchen is fully outfitted including fridge, oven, stove, microwave, blender and cooking utensils. The dining table comes with 4 chairs and can easily double as dedicated work space. The use of the steam bath comes at an additional cost, the same goes for the 4 office spaces by the lobby which are available to rent by the hour.
My wife and I were extremely happy with this gorgeous apartment in Juanambu. Patrick and his assistant Jorge were very courteous, helpful and above all super friendly. At any time of the day or night they were always available to assist even with the most simple question. I look forward to stay again with them in one of their properties without a doubt. Amazing experience. One of the best! Extremely safe space, very clean and Patrick provides you with a tour guide so you don’t even have to think of where to go and what to do. Amazing experience.
The apartment is very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was a great extra on hot days. The balcony is nice to relax on- with a great view of the city. The air conditioning and wifi are good. There is a small washing sink and a clothes drying rack so you can wash and hang things to dry that you don’t want to put in a washer or dryer. The kitchen is big and easy to work in. And the fridge has an ice dispenser! We were comfortable in the neighbourhood. We would definitely stay in this Airbnb again.
The residential neighborhood of Juanambú is close to all the fun. The Granada Zona Rosa (entertainment district) begins only two blocks away on the 9th Avenue which is packed with bars, clubs, restaurants, coffee shops, designer stores and several hotels.
Nearby is the river boulevard which is great for sightseeing and is always a lot of fun on Friday afternoon.
The Centenario shopping center with supermarket, food court, coffee shops and cinema is only 3 blocks away. More famous shopping center Chipichape is about 10 minutes drive north.
Behind the building is the mountain known as "Cerro Las Tres Cruces" which offers a great morning hike up to the 3 crosses statues. Awaiting you at the top there's an amazing view of Cali, fresh fruit juices and a primitive outdoors gym. Expect the climb to take 45-60 minutes depending on your physical condition. Best time to go is from 6-10 am.
During the day, I suggest walking wherever possible. Enjoy the warm, eternal summer climate. Get to know the city. Explore!
If you're going further, then there are more than 20.000 taxis in Cali and they are very affordable. Minimum fare starts at 4.000 pesos which is less than a dollar. If you don't speak Spanish then Uber, Cabify, Beat and Didi all operate here and are the better choice. Busses are plentiful but tend to get very crowded and there is no bus line that passes by the property.
At night, best to always use a taxi / Uber / Didi / Beat / Cabify.
We also have private drivers we can recommend for airport pickups and trips around the city as well.

Back in 2010 I left my home country of Denmark to pursue a lifelong dream: To travel on a motorcycle from the United States to Brazil. And what an adventure it became… I ended up riding 54.000 km through 18 countries during that 15-month trip. I made friends all over Latin America. But one of those amazing friendships turned into a flirt and 2 years after finishing my trip I ended up moving to Colombia to begin a new chapter of my life. Today, after living in Cali for more than 7 years, I’m happily married and have two beautiful little daughters. Real estate investing has been my trade since arriving here. With my team, we have built and operated more than 54 units for short-term rentals with different investors, and we pride ourselves on having the highest quality units on the local market. I left my old partnership with Lifeafar and am currently developing new buildings on my own. I run the daily operation with my partner Harold via our management company EXSTR.
