Make a romantic getaway to this gorgeous woodland apartment nestled in the Exmoor National Park near Killington. Sleeping two guests, the one-bedroom, first-floor hideaway sits within a site where other holiday homes are also located and with footpaths through the forest in all directions. Take your canine companion with you too and look out for wildlife, including otters and deer on your walks. Venture 3 miles to the coast for clifftop hikes and 8 miles to the beautiful beaches near Combe Martin. Climb the exterior stairs up to the property and enter to find a characterful space with modern touches. The heart of the apartment is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can make homecooked meals to enjoy at the table. Brew a cup of tea or pour yourselves a glass of wine here too then settle on the comfortable seating to while away the evening in front of the Smart TV. As your eyelids droop, wander through to the bedroom, which has a 4’ double bed and doors opening on to a Juliet balcony to bring in a summer breeze. There is also a shower room at the apartment. Guests at the property have access to a shared laundry room, with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Sit outside on warm days enjoying the fresh air from the privacy of your own balcony. The property is reached via a narrow lane with speed bumps. There is parking for one car with the apartment. Pick up the South West Coast Path near Trentishoe, 2.5 miles away, where keen walkers can hike 11 miles to Ilfracombe if they wish. Drive 12.5 miles to Ilfracombe for a day out wandering the shopping streets and swim at the famous Tunnels Beaches. Venture 4.5 miles to Lynton to take the cliff railway down to Lynmouth.
