Beautiful home and every amenity that was listed worked great. A lot of the time you stay at an AirBnB and things like the hot tub aren’t quite what you’d hope for. But this house had the best hot tub we’ve stayed at and everything worked just the way you’d hope. But what really stood out was how welcoming and gracious the hosts were. Easy 5-star review for that alone. Highly recommend this stay.

We had a beautiful time at Joseph’s home. It is a stunningly beautiful space, both inside and outside. So very peaceful and quiet. Also, super close to our day of kayaking and a day at the Monterey Aquarium. Joseph very responsive. Feel very lucky to have time in this special place.
This is hands down my favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed out. Pristine place, steps from a deserted beach, private sauna, and the hosts were so kind and flexible! Great for kids, couples and a group of friends! Five stars doesn’t feel high enough. This place was INCREDIBLE. We will be back very soon:)
Joseph’s place exceeded our expectations. The view is phenomenal and we loved sitting in the hot tub enjoying the waves crashing along the secluded beach. The place had everything we needed for our family of 4 to have a nice peaceful relaxing time. During our stay we took advantage of the Monterey Bay aquarium and kayaking that was just a few minutes from the townhouse. This is definitely a place we would come back to and stay again.

The Monterey Dunes Colony has several shared amenities near the clubhouse in the center of the complex. There is a saltwater pool that is open from April through October as well as a hot tub adjacent to the clubhouse.
In addition, there is a sand volleyball court in front of the clubhouse and several games behind, including 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, a pickleball net, a bocce court, a shuffleboard court, and a golf driving mat with net. These are available for all residents and guests in the colony on a first come, first serve basis. Sports equipment for your use is kept in the garage, please return it all.
The townhouse is located in the Monterey Dunes Colony, a gated community with one entrance/exit. When you arrive at the front gate, if someone is in the guard house, let them know you are a guest in unit 304. If no guard is there, then pull forward a few feet and dial 195 on the large speaker phone and tell them the same thing. This gate is monitored 24/7. To exit the complex, just pull close to the exit gate and it will automatically open.
Once past the front gate, follow the signs and turn right when you see the entrance to units 300-316. Please park your car in the spot designated for 304. If you have additional vehicles, please use the guest spaces nearby.
