An oasis in the city. Serene, comfortable and gracious landing after a day visiting the city. This is the first floor of a split level home. I have owned this home for many years and had rented the top floor as an AirBnb. I just finished a remodel of the first floor - I took it to the studs. I soundproofed the ceiling so there is little noise from the top floor. I live above alone for half the year and the other half my mother joins me. We live a quiet life. This house is so peaceful - the neighborhood is very quiet. It is a joy! I converted one bedroom into the kitchen and the remaining bedrooms are located on either end of the unit. The views are wonderful from each room in the home. In true modern architecture the outside and inside are united - hence the green wall to bring your eye out to the trees and the lighting at night so the windows are not a mirror. I put a ceiling on the outdoor deck for privacy from the upstairs. But it is most fun to turn on the heating element and sit in the covered area even in the cold rain and enjoy the view while cuddling under throws.

I had the pleasure of staying at Michelle's Airbnb and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The first thing that struck me was how impeccably clean the place was. Every corner of the apartment was spotless, which made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Additionally, the attention to detail in the apartment was exceptional. From the stylish decor to the comfortable furniture, Michelle has created a space that is both aesthetically pleasing and cozy. I truly felt like I was staying in a home away from home.. Lastly, I can't forget to mention Michelle herself. She was an incredible host who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. She was responsive to any questions or concerns.
Not much to add to my last review. Michelle's space here is so nice I've stayed twice! Another of my fav aspects of this place is the serenity and the views!! Some of the best views anywhere in Seattle (it's what the PNW is all about from this space, trees, water, mountains in the distance). Hardly hear anything from folks upstairs. Plenty of everything you need. Thanks again!
Had a wonderful private and peaceful time at Michelle's place. The check-in was very welcoming and warm. I walked in the door and immediately started to relax. My teenage girls and husband were very comfortable and we walked outside in the neighborhood every day.
This was by far one of my favorite airbnb's. It had everything I needed, and even lovely extras that some hotels don't even think to have on hand (toiletries, cooking utensils, extra towels). Super quiet, clean, peaceful and some amazing scones to welcome us. Thank you Michelle.
The outside is so cute and I really appreciated the parking area along with the little seating area in front as well. Once, I was inside I could not believe the stunning view, I could see it from every room. It was so cool to wake up to it ever morning! The beds and furniture are super cozy, I really loved the linens. Ever little touch has been thought of from the coffee station to the robes and extra's in the bathroom. The back patio was perfect to have a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. There even is a heater available if it is to cold. This is definitely a luxury stay in Seattle! The host was super accommodating and really quick responsive with any questions we had. Will definitely be staying here again!

Northeast Seattle is home to University of Washington, UW Medical Center and Children's Hospital. University Village shopping area is within three miles. Easy access to I-5. Several parks nearby. Many people walk down this street -it's fun to watch them touch the dead end sign and turn around! There is a ravine with walking trail across the street that a neighbor is restoring with native plants. We are also close to the Burke Gilman walking trail and bike bath. We can see Magnuson Park and Lake Washington below the house. There are MANY great restaurants in the area and a great dog park down by Lake Washington.
The house is at the end of a dead end street. It is a bit like a cul-d-sac. There is parking on the street and at least one spot in the driveway. Very friendly and kind neighbors!
