Colibri Cottage is incredible - best location, best views, best pool, best service …and best pool on the island! Myself and family (6 adults) just returned from an 8 night stay and it was just as magical as our first trip last year (we rebooked this cottage pretty much the same day we got home!) Livina and Randall looked after us beautifully …as always. Love this place. I’ve no doubt we will be back again many times.

We had the best time during our stay at Colibri Cottage. We were in St. Lucia for our daughter’s wedding. Our group of 12 was really comfortable at the villa, and it was located close to both the wedding and the reception venue. The pool was amazing and we spent almost as much time there as anywhere else. Lavinia, Martina and Randall were fantastic. Lavinia’s cooking is wonderful, and she outdid herself with each meal. We would definitely stay again and have already recommended the place to friends.

property: exactly how we imagined, property is well kept, the views are great and it is perfectly located. You will have no troubles here! Meals: it says Lavina will cook one meal per day, either BRUNCH OR LUNCH as she arrives @9:30. All other meals there will be a fee. we expected local dishes for breakfast as they do on other islands. Reality: Lavina stated she only cooks Brunch for free, Lunch is at an additional cost,she only cooks eggs, pancake, bacon and small items as breakfast. So we cooked our entire stay and cleaned up after ourselves. Cleanliness: this had to be the most troubling part of the property. The bathrooms , specifically the showers, could have been better. Even though there are mesh coverings for windows and doors, bugs still managed to get inside. Bring tons of repellent and bug spray! Overall: you will enjoy your stay here, it is what you make it out to be!

It's not their fault that it's tricky to find - this place is supposed to be off the beaten path, and it is! Not great clarity about how meals work - at one point we were told we were supposed to get a 'manual', which we never got. But an absolutely gorgeous house, excellent staff, easy to get around the island via a short walk to Soufrière. A great vacation!

One of the very best villas in St Lucia. Quite honestly the amazing photo's don't actually do Colibri Cottage justice. It's location, grounds and views are absolutely stunning and the layout of the outside terrace/s and grounds work in complete harmony with the location, surroundings and views. It's difficult to describe without actually being there, but it's a magical place and we are already planning our next trip. Lavina (house manager) and Randal (groundsman) were BRILLIANT. Kind, friendly, helpful, attentive but discrete. 11 out of 10 service levels. Villa also located in the best spot on the island for exploring most of the best attractions. The Pitons (10 mins drive away), Sugar Beach (5 mins drive), Soufriere (10 minutes easy walk along the coast), Hot springs (5 mins drive), Anse Chastanet with great snorkelling and diving (15 mins drive). Loads of good restaurants in easy reach. Brilliant! Top tip hire your own car as the roads are perfectly fine and not busy. Perfect!
