What a treasure. We almost didn't want to go out and about because it was so lovely being at the cabin. The architecture inside is beautiful and cosy. It was a pleasure to sit inside by the log fire listening to records or to sit out by the fire pit under the stars. The cabin is equipped with everything you need for an easy stay away (kitchenware, spices & condiments, basic bathroom products etc.). The cabin's location is very accessible but especially at the back, feels a million miles away from the world - so peaceful! It was an easy 30ish minutes to Acadia National Park where we went each day and couldn't have hoped for a better place to come back to each evening. It's a perfect size for a couple, or family. The tree-house style bedroom is great fun with a window looking out into the woods. We hope we'll get the chance to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at The Perch very much. It was exactly described and am easy drive to both Ellsworth and Bar Harbor and Acadia when wanted to explore. It was nice being without TV and enjoyed a puzzle, listening to music, sitting in front of the fire talking. Great getaway, very private, and the view if the stars on the rooftop deck was incredible. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away. Patrick was quick to reply to my questions and has everything we needed. Thank you for making our first trip to Maine together comfortable.

This was the perfect place for a weekend get away. The cabin was cozy and had lots of games and records for us to occupy our evenings after hiking. The deck on top of the building was perfect for breakfast, and the screened in porch was a lovely way to spend the evenings outside despite the rain.

Really enjoyed this home in the woods! Quiet and peaceful. Saw deer in the forest while there. Had everything we needed, from coffee filters to a hair dryer! The board games were fun. I particularly liked having a hot cocoa in front of the fire I made using the wood stove. The hosts were proactive in coordinating my arrival and they were very courteous. The place is a solid 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, so be aware of that. Recommended!

We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin! Close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. The cabin was cute and cozy. The outdoors area was private and beautiful in the woods! Can’t wait to come back one day! 100% recommend booking this air b&b!
