LAKE VIEW! Discover comfort and tranquility in our spacious 2-bedroom condo, nestled in the breathtaking St. Mary's Glacier neighborhood. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature - explore hiking trails, backcountry ski or snowshoe, and fish or kayak on the private lake (when it's not frozen). Cozy up by the electric fireplace and enjoy the beauty of what is St. Mary's. Ideal for families or small groups seeking adventure and relaxation in the heart of the Rockies. Our condo comfortably sleeps 5 people - King bed in the Master bedroom, Queen in the 2nd bedroom, and 1 single bed in the Sunroom. A 4x4 vehicle will be needed to get up here in the late Fall, Winter and Spring. Your entire drive is on a paved, county-maintained road, but conditions can change quickly, and a reliable vehicle is needed. We are an easy 5-minute walk to the St. Mary's Glacier trailhead. Free parking here at the complex. Lots of other hiking in the area. Often you will spot moose, fox, deer, hummingbirds. This lovely condo has been totally redone with all new furnishings. Comfortable beds, Linens, Coffee and Tea will be left for you. There are also a few staples like salt and pepper, oil to cook with, and a few spices. There are other neighbors in the building, and we ask you to please respect quiet time after 10:00pm. This condo sits at 10500 ft. Be sure to drink lots of water as it is a very high altitude. Very nice condo, got to hike to the glacier trail and not pay the $20 parking which was great! Host is very responsive and let us check in early which was really nice!
My husband and I stayed for a week and we felt right at home, very comfortable and beautiful view. 10/10 i will definitely remember to book again when we come back for a visit!
A wonderful place right down a short hike to St. Mary’s Glacier. The condo is very comfortable with two bedrooms and a kitchen/bath, and a gas fireplace. It’s high above Idaho Springs so gets snow when the Idaho Springs is getting rain (in April). In short, a very comfortable and affordable place for two to five folks in a gorgeous location for exploring and hikes, snowshoe into a well known day destination from Denver. We had no idea how great the location is. Elevation is about 10,000 ft so for those who want a high-mountain experience (e.g. maybe not flat landers who don’t like the high mountains.)
Very relaxing stay, well stocked and comfortable unit, can’t wait to come back.

4. Ski Resorts: The property is conveniently located within driving distance of several ski resorts, making it an ideal base for winter sports enthusiasts.
5. Outdoor Recreation: The surrounding area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering numerous opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, and wildlife watching. Bring your off-road vehicles to take advantage of the endless OHV trails throughout the area!
A reliable 4x4/AWD vehicle is REQUIRED in the late Fall, Winter and Spring months. The condo is 9-miles up a county maintained/plowed road, but conditions can drastically change up here. There are areas of the road that are steep and sometimes slick, so please ensure that you have reliable transportation and experience driving in the snow.
There are 2 free parking spots for our unit, and plenty of overflow parking available on the East side of the condos.
You're a short 20 minute drive (9 miles) into Idaho Springs for restaurants, groceries, and entertainment.
