As you walk in the door, the stunning kitchen seamlessly connects to the dining and living areas and is outfitted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops making meal preparation and cleanup a breeze. Natural light and sloped ceilings enhance the living room area equipped with a flatscreen HD Smart TV, contemporary fireplace and comfortable seating. The dining area can seat 6 people comfortably with additional seating at the counter. Bedroom 1 features a king-sized bed, closet, storage space and HD Smart TV. The ensuite bathroom highlights modern fixtures, walk-in tile shower and granite countertops complete with hair dryer, towels and linens. Bedroom 2 is perfect to accommodate both adults and children with a custom-made bunk bed system of a queen-sized bed base with stairs leading to an XL twin-sized bed. This bedroom has a HD Smart TV, closet and connects to the house bathroom which encompasses a combination tub/shower, modern fixtures and granite countertops complete with towels and linens. Ascending the staircase brings two more bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedroom 3 incorporates a custom-made bunk system mirroring Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 4 offers a comfy queen-sized bed and closet. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination, modern fixtures and granite countertops in addition to towels, linens and hair dryer. We had the best stay! The communication from the beginning was very strong. The house was brand new along with everything in it. The decor was beautiful and fit the luxury working ranch theme throughout. The beds were cozy. The space was just right for our two young families of 5. The owners invited us to a bonfire on night one, and the kids loved it. The kids fished, played games, and loved exploring the property. We were close to the town of Glen Rose, so during the day we went on a Safari tour to feed the animals. And then to Fossil Ridge to explore dino footprints and hike. The owners also put up a bounce house for the kids and and large connect 4 games in a large entertainment space. On our last day we were picked up and taken to feed the cattle, see the longhorn, and collect eggs from the hen house. We also got to see the baby chicks. As we drove away the kids asked if we could come back :)
We had a lovely stay at Twin Canyons Ranch. The house was very well appointed and super comfortable for our family of 6. Hosts were super friendly and very accommodating! Can not go wrong with this property!
Twin Canyons was a great place to stay for the weekend. Really convenient as well since they’re were also hosting the spartan race we were participating in. Overall a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend.
I am almost afraid to give too high of a review for fear I will never be able to get back into this place, because it will be booked all the time.. It was PHENOMENAL! It’s description didn’t do it justice. The HOUSE, THE LAND, THE CATTLE, the ENTIRE package. Far far far exceeded our expectations. Not one negative comment could we make. We were the first renters of the specific house we stayed in but the cattle. The ranch. The everything!!! WE NEEDED that break from reality and we got it. It was quiet other than the occasional cow mooing. It was serene. The sunsets over the pond were breathtaking. The hostess was beyond helpful. Literally everything was amazing. Thank you for giving us the time of our lives. Twin Canyons Ranch, we super appreciate you. As this Jersey girl needed that serenity. We will be back.
