Experience historic charm in this 2-bed, 2-bath garden-level apartment in Paulus Hook, Jersey City. Just 6 min ferry ride to Manhattan, easy access to main tourist attractions and public transportation and walking distance from local restaurants and entertainment. Fully renovated, quiet, and equipped with modern amenities like washer/dryer, radiant heat, and central A/C. Your ideal home away from home. Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment boasts an open kitchen-living room with an island. Situated on the ground level of our historic 1890s brownstone (fully renovated in 2020), it has a private entrance and quiet, garden-facing bedrooms. Exterior security cameras are installed in front and back of the building. The primary bedroom features a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom has 2 twin beds. The living room is equipped with a sofa, coffee table, and armchairs. The apartment has ample closets ensure storage space. There is a smart TV which can access Netflix, PrimeTV etc.., but no cable. No smoking is allowed indoors or in the backyard. We provide linens, towels, soap/shampoo, and detergent for the washer/dryer, along with Wi-Fi. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dish washer, microwave, toaster, coffee supplies, cutlery, glasses, fridge, oven, and more.

Great location to visit NY! Close to subway and the ferry!
Super walkable and convenient location for trips into NYC. The home was very comfortable and well laid out with two separate bedrooms that received plenty of sunlight. Host was very responsive and helpful during our stay, would definitely come back!
What a charming place in a wonderful location. Within 15 minutes (walking) of SO many spots in Jersey City and conveniently located near lots of transportation options. Definitely a place to stay if you’re looking for a spot that provides you with a quiet, comfortable home base but within short distance of everything Jersey City, Hoboken, and NYC has to offer. Francois was so lovely and thoughtful - one of my favorite Airbnb hosts ever.
We had a wonderful stay at François’s place. It was spotlessly clean and in a great location in Jersey City. Just a 10 min walk to Exchange Place for the PATH across to the WTC. We often took the 1 subway uptown from there. It was so peaceful compared to Midtown Manhattan; I love staying there but it is super noisy, and the kids slept like logs - they wouldn’t have in NYC. They loved the playpark down at Exchange Place and the views across to Downtown Manhattan are stunning. Françios and Jessica were so friendly and responsive, really excellent hosts. We would love to stay again!
Fantastic place... Spacious, comfortable and finished to an impeccably high standard. Location was perfect: only 10-minutes walk to Grove or Exchange PATH stations giving easy access to Manhattan. We were home only 45-minutes after leaving the Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Really nice to come back to the chilled, easy going atmosphere of Jersey City after the bustle of New York. Great choice of local restaurants and bars; all family friendly and reasonably priced. Francois was helpful and friendly throughout and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Thanks again, Francois. We hope to be back again soon.

Two PATH stations are less than 10 minutes away for a quick 10-minute ride to Lower Manhattan, and the same goes for the ferry. Enjoy a picturesque view of the World Trade Tower and NYC's Skyline from our street. While we're close to NYC, our neighborhood offers peace and quiet, along with easy access to charming coffee shops and restaurants. We're also just a 15-minute drive from EWR without traffic.
Street parking is generally hassle-free, with visitor permits required Mon. - Fri. No parking on Thursdays (1pm - 3pm) for street cleaning, but no permits are needed on weekends/holidays. We can provide visitor digital permits for $10/day, with no personal information required, only your car's details.
