The home is also outfitted with mini-split A/C units for completely customizable comfort during your stay. We know that travel can wear a person out, so we pay extra attention to details; it’s the little things that make the biggest difference when you’re far from home, so you’ll find that all the toiletries you’re likely to need have been provided.
This was a good stay! there was walkable restaurants & grocery store. The parking situation was a lil tough as it’s tricky to get in & out of the garage, till you get the hang of it. Street parking is limited. 3 floors, so we definitely got a good leg work out in hahah. Location was convenient & close to DT! Would stay again :)
Great place to stay. Not far from grocery stores. Not far from downtown. The garage is at the back of the unit, the driveway to the garage is very narrow. We need to be very careful to drive through.
Ricardo was extremely prompt with answers to our questions. Was flexible with us checking in a little early. Reached out to make sure we got in ok and everything was well. Would definitely stay here again, thank you for all of your hospitality!
Great place to stay! The 3 levels is a bit inconvenient to carry luggage’s but is quite comfortable once you get settled in. Similarly it’s tricky to get in and out of the garage but once you get the hang of it, it is convenient given street parking is tough to find. Tips on size of the garage ahead of time helped us choose the right size rental car. Location was very convenient and is a short distance to city center.
Welcome to the vibrant neighborhood of Fremont in the heart of Seattle, where creativity and community spirit collide in a delightful mix of art, quirkiness, and stunning views. Christened affectionately by its residents with titles like "Center of the Universe," "The People's Republic of Fremont,” and "The Artists' Republic of Fremont," the neighborhood is known for its subversive charm and unique personality. Time has tempered the counterculture roots of Fremont, but the aesthetic remains; one of the most iconic landmarks that greets you as you enter this neighborhood is the colossal Fremont Troll. This 18-foot sculpture, lurking under the Aurora Bridge, has become a symbol of Fremont's playful and artistic atmosphere, with its gigantic concrete hand playfully clutching a real Volkswagen Beetle. Visitors are encouraged to climb on the troll and take pictures, making it a must-visit spot for tourists and locals alike.
Fremont's rich cultural tapestry extends to its businesses. The neighborhood is home to a diverse array of boutiques, shops, and eateries. Stroll down the bustling streets to discover vintage stores, art galleries, and craft breweries, such as Fremont Brewing Company. You can also find some of Seattle's best-known coffee shops, reflecting the city's love affair with caffeine. While exploring, you might catch sight of the Solstice Cyclists, a group of brave souls who participate in the annual Fremont Solstice Parade, a summer event that's emblematic of the neighborhood's free-spirited culture.
Fremont's strong sense of community is palpable, with regular street fairs, farmers' markets, and the Fremont Sunday Market offering a taste of the local vibe. The neighborhood is celebrated for its commitment to public art and its counterculture roots, and you'll discover an array of murals, sculptures, and other creative expressions around every corner. Don’t miss the iconic but controversial statue of Vladmir Lenin, salvaged from Slovakia by a local artist! Lastly, the nearby Gas Works Park, with its rusting industrial structures transformed into play areas and panoramic views of the city, is a popular spot to relax and take in the scenery. Whether you're drawn to its artistic charm, unique landmarks, or welcoming community, Fremont is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the spirit of Seattle.
While some of Seattle’s neighborhoods are pretty walkable, who can turn down a rental with garage space? You will likely want to drive at some point during your visit, and this home is situated conveniently near route 99 and interstate 5, both of which will take you right across the bridges and into the heart of Seattle.
