Millwood is a beautiful and interesting historic village with a diverse culture in terms of people and income structure. It is friendly and quiet. The village is walkable to the iconic Burwell Morgan Mill, Locke Store and The Buttery Restaurant. The Schoolhouse Antique Shop, a post office and historic churches are also walkable.
Historic Long Branch House and Farm as well as Blandy, a Virginia Arboretum, the Shenandoah River and the Appalachian Trail are a short 5 mile drive. We are near spectacular wineries, breweries and other wonderful Virginia horse country villages as well as Sky Meadow State Park and Shenandoah National Park. We are about an hour and 20 minutes from downtown Washington DC. We are between the City of Winchester and the Town of Middleburg.

The biggest traffic jam you will find around here is when the cows get out, Cyclists are out or the Blue Ridge Hunt riders are meandering back to horse trailers.
