Just a great spot! Walking distance to a party store and bars/restaraunts. Very clean and updated with comfortable beds. Would come back anytime! Amd thank you for being cool when we accidentally took your blankets!

Wonderful place for a cousin's reunion! Lisa's is an amazing host. Emails were met with a quick response. Upon arriving, Loretta greeted us with a lovely smile and a tour of the house. The house was just as the photos described. Beautifully decorated old Victorian with all of the modern perks. The location was an added bonus. Just a very short walk to the shops, the best bourbon bar EVER and close to Keenland and central to many of the distilleries. If you are planning on visiting Lexington this place is a must stay.

First time back in the Bluegrass in 7 years, and so please we chose this location. The house was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and pleasantly homey. We loved the proximity to multiple locations on the bourbon trail, as well as the nightly walks to the local bourbon bar. The host made sure we had everything we needed and was prompt in responding anytime we reached out, including after we left and thought something may have been left behind. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area and will consider staying here again on our next trip.

Our group of 8 adults found the accommodations perfectly suited. Very walkable community and easy to get to downtown restaurants,coffee shops and stores. The host left a list of local attractions and suggestions of activities. Our group was in town for opening weekend of KEENELAND Race track and the Gus Macey house was just 15 minutes from the track. The house! They have restored this 1899 home with modern conveniences while maintaining the integrity of the period of the home. It is beautiful and functional! Whether sitting on the back deck, around the table or in the Bourbon room we all felt right at home. The kitchen and baths were well appointed with everything you’d need for a weekend. Special extras were left about the house such as specialty soaps, toiletries, and snacks. The hosts were so pleasant. We will plan on staying at this location again when in the area.
