Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. In the heart of Cape Breton along the Bras D'Or Scenic route. Enjoy waking up every morning to the beautiful Bras D'Or lake. Drive up your own private drive to your own private entrance. With large double door entrance to allow for accessibility. Enjoy a king size bed in your private bedroom. The washroom features a walk in shower that is accessible, towels, hand towels, face cloths as well as other amenities. The living room has a double size pull out couch, seating area and tv. The kitchenette which features an apartment size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, air fryer, sink, dishes, cutlery. Patio includes muskoka chairs, fire place and a view of the bras d'Or lake. This getaway is located in the centre of Cape Breton, an hour and a half away from the Causeway, Cheticamp, and Louisbourg. 40 minutes away from downtown Sydney. 20 minutes away from amenities such as grocery shopping, restaurants, NSLC.

Never written a negative review but feel the need to this time. There were some positives- nice decorations, some kitchen items (could use bowls), pull out couch was out and ready for us which was nice as we arrived late, quiet, lights on on arrival so could see in the dark. However, we had to kill dozens and dozens of insects crawling around the whole time . They just kept coming. Doors were very difficult to close to bathroom and main door which makes alot of noise and waking people up we stayed with. Dog poop near the main entry. Difficult to find where to go at night (needs better signage). Fridge was dripping with water on arrival and made a mess. vaccum stuff was dumped in entry area on the lawn. Outdoor furniture was dirty and covered in cobwebs. It just wasn’t a 230$+ experience we thought it would be/expected. Saying this in hopes that the owner will make changes so that future guests will want to return.
Belle emplacement un Peu loin des services mais si voulez la tranquillité et une vue exceptionnelle je recommande vous êtes à 22 minutes des services en voiture Flambant neuf manque encore des petites choses mais il est très ouvert à accommoder ils ont été sa femme et lui très gentil et répondaient rapidement à nos demandes
We had an amazing experience. From the beginning Marc was very helpful and responsive with our questions, and went the extra mile to ensure we had everything that we would need. The apartment itself was great ; spacious, clean, nicely decorated and comfortable! The view from the apartment is absolutely beautiful. It was so serene to have our morning coffee looking out at the lake. The location is not too far from sydney or baddeck so it was great to be able to do some touring around. We would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Best and shortest route is to drive to St. James road, and then turn left (from Sydney) or right (from the canso causeway). It is then 11km on your left.
