Aspen Lodge at Mercia Marina is the perfect base for a family getaway in the heart of the country with plenty of nearby attractions for walkers, nature lovers and those who enjoy the outdoors. Mercia Marina is Europes largest inland Marina boasting a promenade with great boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants. A beautifully appointed lodge built in 2021. Sleeping six with two double rooms, one twin single room one full bathroom and an additional shower. The kitchen is really well equipped. Tea and coffee (pods) provided. Linens, towels, shower toiletries are also included. The lodge also has a fabulous Sky glass smart TV and free broadband connectivity.

Simon is an excellent host and responds to messages within minutes. We had a small issue on arrival (no fault of the host) and Simon dealt with it swiftly. The lodge is in excellent condition in a great location which is peaceful and very secure. We stayed there to mainly visit Alton Towers with the kids which is a 35 min drive. It has small local shops and pub. Really can’t fault the experience and will certainly be booking up again in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely location with good amenities and the lodge itself was great. Simon was quick to respond to any queries we raised. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay here again.
What a beautiful place! Gorgeous views, well maintained surroundings. The lodge itself was clean and well presented. We will definitely be returning!
Simon has been a great since the day i booked,and continued throughout. Beautiful cabin the views are amazing .We would highly recommend and you certainly wont be disappointed
