Such an amazing apartment, very grand and furnished to an excellent standard. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. It felt very luxurious and the attention to detail was very much appreciated - soft white robes in the bathrooms and top quality toiletries. We were very thankful for the welcome hamper - treats, as well as essentials, like milk and tea. There is everything you need for a very comfortable stay and with such a beautiful view across the Fowey estuary, it is a joy to sit with a cuppa and enjoy watching the boats go back and forth and the lights twinkling in Polruan, on the opposite bank. Fiona is an excellent host and makes sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Nothing is ever too much trouble. A great location to walk to the beach and to stroll into town as well as to visit many of the wonderful places nearby. Staying here was a real treat for us.

A week didn’t feel long enough in Fiona’s fabulous place. No 1 Claremont is a beautiful spot away from the busy harbour but close enough to walk to all the amenities you may need, although the welcome hamper was very generous. The views…. just incredible, I could of sat with the binoculars (that were provided) all day. To have such good parking was fantastic, and the laundry room a unexpected surprise. Every attention to detail has been thought about to make it a real home from home experience. To top it all off having Ready money beach just a 10 min walk away was brilliant and I swam every day. Looking forward to a return visit!

No 1 Claremont is a fantastic place to stay in Fowey and we would 100% recommend. The photos looked great, but it’s even more impressive once you’re there with amazing views and plenty of space with 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a brilliant lounge and kitchen diner (we were a family of 4 and we had ample room). The apartment was spotlessly clean and has loads of character throughout and is impressively fitted out to the extent it’s more like staying in a boutique hotel. We enjoyed making use of the balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view over to Polruan and out to sea. Fiona was a great host too, always very quick to reply to the few questions I had and made some great recommendations for places to eat and I think we went to all of them. Fowey is an idyllic place in Cornwall, it was our first time there but we’ll be back and will definitely return to this apartment. All in all a brilliant holiday in Fowey in a great place to stay! Would highly recommend.
