Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at the waters edge. Enjoy stunning views of the ever changing tides while spotting bald eagles, osprey and the occasional seal. This newly renovated former boathouse offers comfort and convenience. Located in Mid Coast, Maine, this property is the perfect spot for exploring the coast -1 hour from Acadia National Park, 15 mins to Belfast and 45 mins from Camden. Bring your kayak, canoe or SUP and launch directly in front of the property. This property is a newly converted former boathouse. There are 2 garage bays in the front which serve as storage space and is only accessible by the owners. The back half of the building, houses a one bedroom unit with expansive windows overlooking the water. You will have water and beach access from the side of the building on the boat launch.

Dana and Cynthia are great! The home was perfect! great views, comfy space,and great recommendations! Go to Hey Sailor restaurant and get the Key lime Pie,come bk have a cup of tea in PJs oh it is heaven!!
we really enjoyed our time at the boathouse. Everything was in perfect working order, very clean, and very comfortable. What a view, we woke up early every day to catch the sunrise!
As soon as we walked in we felt right at home. From the beautiful view, incredible design, and genuine warmth of the space, we were so very grateful to be here. Dana and Cynthia have impeccable taste. We loved their book of recommendations which we also received on line. Here’s the list of places we went: Hey Sailor-great tacos and guac, Perry’s Nut House- delicious homemade fudge, enjoyed the gem store connected to Perry’s, Mimosas (sp?) - incredible chef from Italy-truly delicious breads, focaccia, cannolis, sauce, olive oil-open Friday-Sunday, Angler’s-great seafood, hiked Sears Island- loved hiking along the coast and combing the beach for treasures, walked Fort Point, toured Belfast and stopped at the oldest shoe store in America from the 1800’s, we met very friendly people, and learned that Dana and Cynthia also rent out the property next door. We did not want to leave. Being right on the ocean is so peaceful. Gorgeous sunrise filled my heart. Thank you so much!
We loved it here. It’s in a beautiful, cozy location and is a perfect place to hole up and watch the sea or get outside and enjoy the local sights.
What a beautiful view!! From the beautiful sunrises, to the peaceful afternoons and calm evenings - this place is pristine. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is clean and well stocked; the bathroom is updated and beautiful. The hosts were quick to respond when we asked for any recommendations or had questions. I would recommend this airbnb time and time again - although I did which is was slightly closer to Acadia, is was still within an hours drive and it is a beautiful one also!! Highly recommend!
