We had a wonderful time! The house has a lot of character with comfortable beds and seating. And a beautiful view especially at sunset! The beach at low tide is great for walking and relaxing in a beach chair! There is a lot of great hiking trails in the area (within a 30 minute drive) with awesome views!

Heidi was a great host! We did run into an issue, Heidi was quick to respond and proactively solve the problem! The location and space is great! Would have loved to spend more time there!

Heidi's beach cottage was so really cute, pictures really don't do justice to how beautiful it was. We were a family of 2 with young kids and everyone abdolutely enjoyed it, there is a lot of games and toys upstairs that was like a hidden treasure for kids :) The shipwreck was the cherry on top we walked down to the beach every chance we got and had amazing views of the sunset in the evening! Pantry is pretty stocked up, so please check out before going grocery shopping. It was an amazing experience and we would definitely come back again if we could!

We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is quirky— an old schoolhouse turned home— and as New Englanders we found it very charming and welcoming. There were five of us— 2 couples and a pre-teen— so the layout worked great. The upstairs is pretty open, so you need to be comfortable with people walking through the various rooms to get to the bathroom (& watch your head if you are tall!). The downstairs bedroom, with a full bed, was more private. The AC and fans kept the house really comfortable. We loved the screened-in porch (big couch and a perfect puzzle table), cooked lobsters in the outdoor kitchen, enjoyed the jacuzzi/outdoor shower, and spent some quality time in their SUPs and kayaks. The location is very private— closed marina on one side and house separated by trees on the other— and the beach access is perfect for long walks and incredible sunsets. Castine is a cute town, groceries, etc. are a short drive, and we went to Bar Harbor/Acadia x 2 (about an hour).

Our family Loves this place! Heaven on earth!! Heidi is wonderful, kind, and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!!
