Overall we had a great vacation with the people we got to spend time with. Regarding the property, we were caught off guard with the description of the barn on the property not realizing it was a separate reservation and right in the front yard (until I asked about it). With our kids running around, we would’ve been uncomfortable with strangers in the front yard. Unfortunately the hot tub was flashing alert codes the entire week and we only got one actual use out of it. The owners did have a service company come out (regular service days are Monday) on a normal service day (2 days after checking in). The service company came out every day that week with no luck. Thankfully, the owners provided a $250 refund on the current stay. The hot tub is also downwind of the septic tank which wasn’t horrible, but it was noticeable. The cabin itself was cute and fit our need, but the tables and bar island do shift if you put too much weight on it. Property has potential but needs some adjustments.

The cabin is large, comfortable and full of amenities. If you're looking for a place to host a large family or group, this is an excellent option. Be aware, however, that there is a converted barn / apartment building only a few feet away from the main house. If you aren't leasing both places, then you will most likely have neighbors. Our interactions with the other guests were friendly enough, but the County requires that all Airbnb's have fire suppression systems, and they set it off one morning, so the alarm blared for 30 minutes until the fire department could turn it off. The setting is peaceful, and there are loads of games and activities on premises. The host was extremely responsive and thoughtful about sending an Instacart for missing items (i.e. laundry detergent). The hot tub was great when it worked, but it is an inexpensive, Sam's club model that required maintenance twice during our week stay, and I would anticipate that is a common occurrence.

We booked this place for a women’s retreat. When we arrived, it was just absolutely beautiful. Lots of space for all of us staying. It has a large dinning table which made it easy for us to have dinner together. I would recommend this place to any large group. The host responded quickly and id very friendly.

The location was beautiful, the description was vague when it came to the barn. I was under the impression it was included. Pretty clean awesome set up. Was not intending on buying toilet paper, paper towels and laundry detergent but it was low or out. Beds were very comfortable and loved the open space for social time.

Amy was a fabulous host, her house is beautiful and very well set up for big families or groups. We met with my extended family and had a wonderful time! We were even iced in for a couple days and didn’t mind at all there was plenty to keep us entertained. Would definitely stay here again!
