Kitson House is perfect for a group of up to 10 guests. Sea or castle views from all windows. The 6 bedrooms have a flexible set up to accommodate several families or groups of friends. The front terrace has a couples seat with views towards the South Bay and Oliver's Mount. The rear terrace has plenty of seating and views across rooftops out to sea and towards the castle. We do ask guests to provide an online pre check in and card so a £250 security deposit can be held (not a transfer). There are 6 bedrooms, all been freshly decorated and tastefully accessorised : First Floor - King bedroom with basin, views towards the castle - Twin bedroom with basin (available as a king on request), South Bay views - Single bedroom with basin, South Bay views Top floor - Double bedroom with ensuite, dual aspect views to the harbour and the castle - King bedroom with basin (available as twins on request), dual aspect views to the harbour and South Bay beach - Single bedroom, South Bay views The bathrooms have all been newly fitted : - family bathroom with shower and bath - ensuite shower room - separate WC with basin 4 bedrooms also have a basin. Well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Bright dining room with castle views, extendable table and high chair. Comfortable living room with 2 large sofas and cocktail chairs to enjoy the South Bay views from the window. Cabinet with children's colouring and champagne and gin glasses for the grown ups!

Best possible location if you looking to stay close to front we loved it defo will return
Wow what a lovely house! Perfect for large groups, well equipped and clean. The house was easy to find and check in to, we felt immediately at home when we walked in. The decor is very tasteful but also had a cosy feel. We felt that everything had been thought of, suitable for children and babies too. The house is in a brilliant location, within walking distance to the seafront, shops etc. Gill was a friendly and helpful host who responded promptly to any questions. We would love to stay again in the future!
Unfortunately we couldn't attend but Gill was very understanding. We have stayed at Gills place before and it is stunning. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
Really enjoyed our stay, pleasant and comfortable, close to harbour, sea front town and the castle, but still quite and peaceful when in the house very well sound proofed from the seagulls! Will definitely stay again.

Kitson House is within Scarborough's Old Town, an area with some beautiful old houses and narrow cobbled streets with Scarborough Castle as the backdrop. Very close to the harbour and the seafront of the South Bay.
The house is located within a particularly quiet part of the Old Town, and although close to the seafront there is no passing traffic or noise from bars.
As the house is in Scarborough’s Old Town, street parking is zoned and guests will require a parking disc or scratch card - we will supply enough for 1 car per day. Quay Street car park is 2 minutes from the back door and West Pier car park a little further - both are free after 6pm
Once you are parked, Scarborough is best explored on foot and Kitson House is the perfect base for the South Bay, the castle as well as the town centre if you fancy looking around the high street shops. On the doorstep apart from the harbour and beach, you will find plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, independent shops as well as of course the amusement arcades and Luna Park funfair. Something for the whole family within a short walk of the house.
If you wish to venture to Scarborough Spa or the North Bay simply walk to the seafront and you can get the Beachcomber open top bus in either direction.
For trips further afield to York or beyond, Scarborough train station can be found in the town.
