An amazing property in Scarborough with amazing views looking out onto the sea. The house itself is very impressive and very well equipped, extremely tidy and some terrific balcony space. We made the mistake of thinking the pool and spa facilities were actually at the property…..but they are located at a hotel a few hundred metres away. We wasn’t impressed with the pool or other facilities at the hotel, was loaded with chlorine, cold and looks in need of some TLC, wasn’t able to use as much as we had hoped. No reflection of the actual accommodation but it is promoted heavily as a positive for the property, we didn’t think it was.

What a pleasure to stay in such an iconic place as the Spa Chalet, which is something we've seen throughout our lives when visiting Scarbrough but never thought we would have a chance to experience this building for ourselves. Location-wise, you will not find better guaranteed, with private car parking at the side for 2 cars with a bonus of an EV point. The period features are amazing throughout but with a very modern kitchen and has everything you need for your stay. For us and this is a personal choice, the beds whilst comfy were only double, not king, with 2 very small single beds but again appreciate these were also in keeping with the period of the building. You also have the use of a full gym, pool and sauna at the nearby Crown Hotel, which again was brilliant. I can truly recommend staying at the Spa and should be on the bucket list of places to stay for everyone, we for sure will be booking again....
