We really enjoyed our stay with Kathy in her beautifully appointed accommodation. She provided us with a wonderful guide who took us walking in the area. Use of the swimming pool was a bonus and wish we could have stayed longer.
Great home space. Enjoyed our stay. Very helpful host, wealth of knowledge about the place and what do to around the area. Will definitely consider it again for our next Lesotho trip!
Alwynskop has its own personal charm. It was the original capital of Quthing district and served as the main wagon post for travellers traversing between The Eastern Cape and Lesotho. Rich with cultural history of local Basotho’s, Baphuti’s, Kings, Chiefs, British and Boer influences as well as European missionaries and more recently 3 rd and 4 th generation white traders.
