Capel Bach is amazing! Stunning view right out the window: mountain bathed in sunset colors, green pasture full of cute sheep with lambs. The local pub is a delightful walk up the road, through a pathway, beside the railway. And Olwen was very communicative, sending us tons of information about local walks etc., and always responsive when asked about where to go, what to see, where to eat etc. Wonderful 👍👍
What a fabulous place, with fascinating features and decor! It's so cosy and comfortable, great to come back to after a day exploring the beautiful countryside around. The weather was cold while we were there, but the heating warmed the place up really quickly. The sofa is so comfortable to snuggle on, and there are lots of blankets and cushions to feel cosy. Plenty of hot water, very comfy bed, kitchen has everything you need for self-catering. Wi-fi is good as well - added bonus! The area is very quiet, and the views are incredible. Olwen is a great host - she gave us lots of info on walks, places to eat etc, and was always responsive. It's very well situated for exploring the area - easy to get to Anglesey/Caernarfon/Conwy/Llandudno and of course to Snowdon, Betws-y-Coed, Beddgellert etc -nowhere is very far away.
We’ve had an amazing stay at the cottage. Such a charming and cosy place to stay with perfect location to explore the area. Thank you Olwen for being a perfect host. Can’t wait to come back to Snowdonia as soon as possible!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Capel Bach - adorable cottage in lovely location. Olwen was very responsive and offered lots of ideas of places to visit and to walk.
