We loved our stay here! Very secluded, gorgeous view, wonderful weekend getaway. The only thing I disliked were the bugs, but that’s pretty much what you should expect with cabin/woodsy stays. The cabin had everything you need and more! The host is super kind and very responsive.
The Red Cabin was wonderful! We enjoyed that it was so secluded and had a great view of the mountains from the hot tub. It was perfect for our weekend getaway and we would definitely come again. The amenities were very nice, they even have fire wood available for use in the fire pit. We enjoyed visiting Cacapon State Park, nearby the Red Cabin, which was a perfect place for hiking and all kinds of outdoor activities.
The Red Cabin is a fantastic hidden away cabin. It had a beautiful view from the deck and we felt like we were on top of the world up on sideling hill. furniture and beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the hot tub was great! We will try to stay again on our next ski trip out that way. Whitetail is pretty close and seven springs is doable for a day trip (just gotta go through some back roads). I recommend waking up for the sunrise over the appalachians!
Cabin was beautiful and linens/towels were clean but there were alot of stink bugs in the cabin. The power went out for 5 hours and our host was very nice and responded quickly but there were no candles or sources of light, heat or water without power. Blackstone was in poor shape and grease trap was full of grease. Alot of half down trees and loose branches that are definitely a hazard with the wind so should probably do some tree trimming especially around the deck. Overall was still a good experience and the hosts were very nice and apologetic about the inconveniences. Would stay again with the small improvements and would recommend some table games or a deck of cards.
It was the perfect getaway for relaxation . My bestfriends and I didn’t want to leave . Thank you for everything hope to come back again
