Adorable little place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Love the antique decor. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. When I had a question the host gave an immediate response. It's minutes from anything you want to do in Evansville. I saw not nice reviews prior to my stay, but nothing stated in those reviews did I find in my stay. It is a cozy little place that feels like home. If you are looking for something brand new with a ton of space, maybe it's not for you. If you want a quiet area, near everything, with enough space to relax, then it's perfect.

I would not recommend this place to others. Jason was slow to respond and his responses were not helpful. The place had no running water and we encountered another issue (not our fault) that resulted in us having to find another place to stay. We did not feel comfortable staying at all after this. Yet, Jason was unwilling to refund or respond to my refund requests as we didn’t stay there but one hour, then had to pack up at 10pm and find another place after a long day of travel. We had to involve Airbnb and finally got back a fraction of what we paid for (need I remind you, didn’t stay here but one hour and the water was off and there was another issue with insects). What made it worse was Jason responses which were short, unhelpful and didn’t seem to understand how bad of an experience this was for us.

So first impressions of when you see the pictures online that it’s going to be a beautiful home. When we arrived, you have to walk through the grass in order to get to the front and in order to do that the area that you have to walk on is unlevel. We get inside there were dead, crickets all over the house.The next problem is the water pressure. The water pressure was horrible in the shower and on top of that you have to wait at least 15 minutes for the water to get warm in there. The toilet is located in a bad spot. For me, it’s stated in the description that you weren’t able to use the oven they had a convention oven there which is fine. You have to wash dishes by hand because the dishwasher was broken. But I don’t know about you all but for me when I’m traveling, I sure don’t feel like standing and doing dishes for very long. There was also a cabinet door that was broke in the kitchen. The back room didn’t heat well. The host didn’t respond about problems. Wouldn’t stay again.
