Springsteen Cabins in Tulbugh really lived up to more than the expectation. We loved every moment of peace and tranquility the cabin and surrounding habitat provided. From starting the hot tub at 3pm to getting out of it at 11pm. It was absolutely lovely. We even had a little bird come knocking on the kitchen door persisting to open it and then flying to the nearest bedroom on the left bathroom door to knock. The cabin was absolutely worth the while. Thank you to everyone that made the place so so beautiful. We even made a little post short clip movie of our experience and you guys shared it. A little note: the bedroom on your right shower. Heated up the first night however the second night the water did not heat up and the water didn’t flush down the shower drain. ( the shower drain may have been blocked) but not a biggy. We just shared our shower with our friends to use. Other than that. It was incredible and would definitely do it again!

Activities:
Visitors to the valley can now enjoy a wide range of wines from the various estates and private cellars which have received a string of national and international awards including Diners Club Wine Maker of the Year and a healthy spread of gold and double gold Veritas awards. Tulbagh has always been innovative in its approach to wine making, with Twee Jonge Gezellen being the first estate to introduce night harvesting in South Africa, a concept now employed by many producers throughout the Cape.
For the adventurous there are hiking trails, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing and birding.
Church Street in town offers visitors the largest concentration of Provincial Monuments in one street in South Africa. There are various museums, gourmet restaurants and wedding venues.
The people in Tulbagh are renowned for their warmth and easygoing hospitality and the valley has fast become an attractive weekend getaway for Capetonians and Cape Winelands wedding and conference venue seekers.
