This was our second trip to Splash, but first for this unit. It was just as beautiful as the photos! It was nicely situated in the West building with very little to no hall noise. I appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. The secondary bedroom King mattress was not particularly comfortable, but that is subjective so I wouldn't hold that against them, and it wouldn't prevent me from booking this unit again.

We loved this condo! Hands down the most beautiful condo we have stayed in. We had a great family vacation and hope to be back soon.

The rental itself is nice, though the resort is dated. The elevators are super slow & at one point actually got stuck with people in it so we had to take the stairs several times. The room is on the 5th floor. The furniture looks to be all newer, the finishes are updated, the beds are comfy, great location, the ocean has several shallow parts so it’s nice for little kids to play. They could use some new pillows, they were all very thin & flat. There were many issues with housekeeping/maintenance that we came across during our stay. Whoever they hire to do the housekeeper does a very poor job. The floor had sand on it, dishes/silverware had food stuck to them, dining chairs had food stains on all of them, there was a kids hot wheel toy on the living room floor, a ball of play-dough laying on the TV stand, cheerios on the floor, food on the living room end table, etc. Maintenance wise, the living room patio slider lock was broke, as was previously stated by another reviewer, both bedroom patio sliders were near impossible to open, there was something stuck in the garbage disposal, the freezer door didn’t shut right, there was mold all around the shower grout, & the front door only opened/closed if you threw your hip into it to push it open. We called about the chairs & the front door & they sent someone to fix the door & steam clean the dining chairs. We chose to wait until check out to report the other issues so we could enjoy our stay without having multiple repair men in/out of the room all throughout our stay. They said they would fix the issues. They provide you with a small bottle of dish soap, hand soap at every sink, a roll of paper towels, 2 dishwasher tablets, 1 laundry detergent & 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. There are hair dryers in the bathrooms, a clothes iron & ironing board, a laundry basket, broom & vacuum. The end table in the living room has a few board games & misc. small kids toys. Plenty of seating on the patio. They offer lounge chairs/umbrellas on the beach for purchase, not sure how much. Pack-n-plays, kids beds, highchairs, beach/pool towels not available, must bring your own. Several grocery stores & shopping nearby. Gift shop across the street, Alvin’s, gives you a small discount for staying here. If you want to access Netflix, Hulu, etc on Tv’s, bring your own hdmi cable & laptop or maybe a roku or something because they aren’t smart TV’s.

The resort itself was run down. The actual condo unit was nice and as pictured. The pool area was not as clean looking. There was an actual cigarette in the lazy river. Our kids had a blast tho regardless. Perfect access to the beach. Half of the games in the arcade were either off or took our money. Checking in was a bit of a hassle, however checking out was smooth and easy.

This place (room and hotel in general) was nice and kid friendly, but little details definitely matter, especially to families with babies. The floors in the living room/rugs weren’t cleaned well, fridge and freezer lights strobed the whole time, couldn’t open the freezer door the whole way, the lock didn’t work the guest bedroom balcony door, and a wall fixture had a huge screw sticking of it. We did like that it was fully stocked with dishes and that we had beach access. The balcony view was beautiful.
