This place worked great for me when I was traveling for work. Nicole, the host, was very easy to communicate with and she even had some home supplies stocked to get my trip off to a smooth start. Lots of food restaurants around the corner, a Sprouts and convenient store within walking distance. Whatever you need, its somewhere on Westwood Blvd or Santa Monica Blvd. The bus made having a car not necessary, but the rental did include a parking space. I wanted a spot with a washer and dryer in unit, and it worked flawlessly. Every time the gate closed, you will certainly hear it slam, unless the person guides its back to the closed position gently, which wasn't often. No one seems to be slamming it on purpose, it just retracts this way, but this is important to know if you are a light sleeper. Also, one of the bedrooms are right outside the said gate. The neighbors seems chill and relaxed when I would see/meet them in passing. Overall, a great place to stay and would stay again for sure!
