This beautifully situated home across the street from the Llano River was recently updated but maintains its turn-of-the-century charm, down to the original 1890s hardwood. Stone's Throw Cottage is a 2-bed, 1-bath home. One room has a queen bed; the other has twin trundle beds. The cottage is near the historic town square and a block from river, park, & splash pad. Grill your catch of the day on the spacious back deck and enjoy morning coffee with river views.

This cute & very clean cottage was perfect for our family of 4! The Llano river/dam can be seen from the front porch and is about a 3 minute walk. The host was the most thoughtful we’ve had, offering to leave a light on to accommodate our late arrival as well as even stocked the fridge with flavored water & our favorite coffee creamer! The bathroom is all brand new and the stackable washer/dryer was a plus! We would definitely stay here again:)
Stones throw cottage was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the view of the river and how quiet it was. The home was cute and we felt welcomed right in.

We had a great time staying at this place! It is walking distance to just about all of the good restaurants in town, as well as the park and river. We were the first guests at this place in a while, and the host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, and that everything was set up right. It all worked out great!

The cottage is a stone's throw from the spring-fed Llano River, Badu Park, a new splash pad, shops, restaurants, and the charming town square. We are three blocks from the famed Cooper's BBQ restaurant.
Please note: Stone's Throw Cottage is near the river in rural Texas. You might see some critters! The area is home to Mexican free-tail bats, native white-tailed deer, gray foxes, ringtails, and Western diamondback rattlesnakes. Please be aware of this before you book your stay.
