Welcome to our charming tiny house retreat, nestled on a working farm in the popular beach town of Barwon Heads. Surrounded by the rustic landscape of the farm, our unique farm stay experience provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our fully equipped tiny house provides a cozy sanctuary to relax and unwind. Wake up to nature, explore the nearby town and beaches, then relax in your cozy haven. Book now for the perfect blend of farm life and beach side charm! The Moonah Tiny House is located at the beautiful Barwon Heads Farm Stay. Our tiny house on wheels may be small but she feels both comfy and spacious with cathedral sealing and large windows, and contains all the amenities you need for an enjoyable stay. The house features an open plan sleeping and living space, with Queen bed and underbed luggage storage and kitchen with gas stove top and bar fridge. The long bench includes an eating/study nook, and there's additional seating with a lounge chair and bench seat. The bathroom features a full size shower, modern composting toilet and vanity. The space also includes an expansive covered patio area with outdoor seating and a dedicated private bbq space that overlooks the sheep paddock - a perfect spot for outdoor dining, relaxing or even working.

What a lovely, peaceful tiny home ❤️🏠🌿 Our weekend getaway at this picturesque farm scape property will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the perfect backdrop to my partners proposal to me 🤍💍 (I said yes!!) Our hosts were so kind in the communication they shared with us in the lead up, during the stay, and after the check out time. Zack and Nat have been nothing but fantastic! We will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven 🤍🌿
Wonderful stay at Zac’s place. The tiny home is just lovely. Most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for yonks. So lovely waking up and looking out the window across the farm. Highly recommend
Zac and Nat were great hosts. They were responsive, helpful and accomodating. The tiny house itself was in pristine condition. The amenities were extremely clean and the instruction manual helpful. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be returning!
The tiny house was clean and new with everything we needed. Zac was a helpful host. We loved that we could easily walk to the Main Street for shopping and dinner. Just be aware that it has a composting toilet.

Barwon Heads is a little but lively beach town with an incredible array of activities accessible on foot to suit all budgets. It's also got great food, with some excellent cafes and restaurants, and the Barwon Heads Hotel all within walking distance of the Tiny Beach House.
If you're interested in exploring the region by car, Barwon Heads is perfectly located, with the provincial pleasures of the Bellarine Peninsula on your doorstep, and the natural rugged beauty of the Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road only a short drive away.

The beaches!
Our beaches are picturesque, choose from shallow family friendly bathing at the rivermouth beach, or marvel at the beautiful surf at 13th Beach.
The Bluff Marine Sanctuary
A beautiful spot for snorkelling or exploring rockpools at low tide. If you’re not a water person, follow the walking trail up to the top of the bluff for some incredible views.
The River Walk
The Boardwalk is a hidden treasure beloved by locals. Take in the beauty of the mangroves and amazing bird life as you walk along the banks of the Barwon.
Lake Connewarre
Paradise for bird watchers, especially if you have a kayak. It's also a peacefully scenic picnic spot. See our Guest Guide for directions on how to get there by car and foot.
The Moonah Forest Walks
Barwon Heads is home to three beautiful little forests of native Moonah trees...and our farm happens to border one of them! The forest parks each have walking tracks, and walking along these winding tracks under the shady trees is the perfect activity for a warm day.
Golfing
Barwon Heads is home to two world class golf courses! If you love golf, you’ll be in heaven.
Grabbing a coffee and exploring the town
We love going for a walk to get coffee in the main street (our fave spot is Confetti), and meandering back along the beach. Along the way, you'll spot a hallmark of the town - our friendly neighbourhood bollard art!
Barefoot Bowls
We love lawn bowls, and we're only a 5 minute walk to the Barwon Heads Bowls Club. Barefoot Bowls is open to all during the summer months. Check the guest guide for more info.
Adventure sports
While we're not super adventurous ourselves, we are spoilt for choice with activities here. We're a 5 minute drive to the Barwon Heads airport, where you can go skydiving, or take a scenic flight along the coast. We're also around 15 minutes drive from Torquay airport where you can take a joy flight in a Tiger Moth. If water is more your thing, hire a stand up paddle board at the beach, or take a surf lesson in nearby Ocean Grove.
Bird Watching
Barwon Heads is home to some amazing birdlife. Walk along the river to spot Egrets, Herons, Pelicans and more, or simply sit on the deck and listen out for the calls of the Currawongs and the Butcher Bird that calls our farm home. Look to the sky to spot Eagles, Hawks and Kites, and the procession of Black Cockatoos that come to drink at the property daily at dusk.
The Tiny Beach House at Bancoora Lodge is located on the edge of Barwon Heads township, and is conveniently located for exploring on foot and by car.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
It's very easy to travel to our property by public transport, as we have a bus stop just a few minutes walk away, for the 55 Bus (Geelong to/from Ocean Grove), which connects to Geelong Station.
Traveling by bus around the town:
The 55 Bus does a loop of the town, so those not wishing to walk or drive can catch the Barwon Heads bus to get to the beach or Main Street. They can also catch this bus to go to the nearby surf town of Ocean Grove where there are more shops, cafes and supermarkets, as well as amazing beaches.
Traveling by bus to Geelong:
They can also travel westbound on the 55 bus to Geelong to visit this historic regional centre.
Getting here from Melbourne:
From Melbourne, catch the V-Line train to Geelong. Get off at Marshall Station, and take the 55 Bus to Ocean Grove. Get off at Cottesloe Dr/Barwon Heads Rd stop. Then, just walk a few minutes west on Barwon Heads Rd to arrive at the property.
PARKING
Free private parking is conveniently available on site.
Ample free parking is available in town, however it does get busy in the summer months, especially close to the beach.

We're hobby farmers in the gorgeous coastal town of Barwon Heads on the Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula. Our passions are eating good food and spending time with our animals - 7 cheeky cows, 6 cute sheep, 4 bossy chickens and one very spoilt cat. Together, we share a deep appreciation for the unique landscape and nature of this region, and love nothing more than walking along the Barwon River to watch the bird life. We're so excited to share our little corner of the world with you!
