I really enjoyed staying in this studio house. I would recommend it if you are looking for a low priced, cozy spot right in the heart of Asheville. Lindsay is one of the first hosts I've really interacted with (he invited me to a get together when I first arrived) and it was an excellent experience, he is friendly and outgoing and made me feel right at home. House: small but cozy, the pictures don't really do it justice. There are enough items for you to do light cooking in the unit. The heater kept the place toasty no problem (December). As a freestanding structure it has plenty of privacy. Location: Great location, close to lots of things. The main road a few blocks away runs right north south thru Asheville, so it is easy to get anywhere. Biltmore Village is around the corner and the Blue Ridge Parkway is a 10 min ride. Bull Mountain is 12 minutes and is a nice, in town slice of the wild without hitting the BRP. Overall this a great spot and I would definitely stay again.

Lindsay was the first person I met when I decided to move from Chicago to Asheville, and I think he encompasses everything I love about this area. Don't look any further if you need a place to feel like home. Come expecting great company, good music, and an amazing experience

This stay was great. It has all the amenities you need for long term living (and for me, remote working) in a small space! It is a 10 minute drive to almost anything you can think of in the area, which made it really convenient to get around. Lindsay is a kind and proactive host who was always quick to help out and friendly. He shared food with me on the first night of my visit and, another time, invited me to spend time with him and his friends at a campfire gathering. For these and plenty more reasons, it is easy to recommend this stay.

Place is just ten minutes from central Asheville which has lots of restaurants, music venues and other things to do. Nice private little cottage behind the main house. Host was easily accessible and has guests over for dinner on occasion either outdoors at the fire pit if the weathers warm enough or inside once it gets colder. Went above and beyond in driving me to the hospital when I had an unexpected medical emergency. Overall it was a great stay and I hope to return to Asheville some time again.
