Great place to stay, walkable distance to the town centre. Accommodation was excellent, as described. Host was friendly, great communication and gave easy to follow directions to the air B&B.

The cottage is on the edge of town in a very peaceful location near the marshes, which you can walk across to get to the beach. It is also very easy to walk into the town to go to shops and restaurants. We liked the Lighthouse and also Two Magpies Bakery for breakfast supplies. The cottage was comfortable and clean. It was bigger than we expected. There is a sofa and TV downstairs which weren't shown in the photos. The cottage is well equipped downstairs. The huge bath and bedroom upstairs were a bonus. We were only staying a couple of nights but there didn't seem to be anywhere to store clothes except a coat rack. The spiral staircase is quite narrow and has a small stone step at the bottom which I forgot about a couple of times. But luckily there is a downstairs toilet through the utility room. The garden was full of bluebells and it felt relaxing and private.

Perfect little cottage for exploring the area. Lovely walk from the doorstep and all amenities walkable - didn't use my car all weekend. Superb hosting with good communication. All you could wish for. Thanks for everything Alexandra.

Loved our long weekend in Aldeburgh. The cottage was clean and lovely with a bonus of a fantastic garden we could use too complete with visiting pheasant. Easy walk into town and the beach either down the road or across a field. We would love to come back again sometime.

We had a great time. The cottage was fantastic, it was very clean and nicely furnished. Easy layout to move around. Lovely big bath to relax in after a good long walk, open the top door in the bathroom for a serine bath experience. The garden was very private and cut beautifully, doesn't show this in the pictures. The beach and high street is a short 10 minute walk away with inland footpaths on your doorstep. Highly recommend and would love to stay again. David & Hayley
