Enjoy breathtaking views of the Cumberland Plateau from the wrap-around, screened-in porch and 15 acres of private conservation land with a waterfall and cave system on the property. The 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is situated on a beautiful bluff with 180-degree views. It really is a one-of-a-kind home and location for finding peace and solitude, as well as a cozy basecamp for enjoying nearby hiking at the Sewanee Perimeter Trail, Fiery Gizzard, Fall Creek Falls, Mountain Goat Trail and more! Enjoy the shared dining/living room space which extends into a fully stocked kitchen and outdoor dining area. There is an outdoor fire pit and a short trail carved around the property. One upstairs bedroom has a private bathroom and the other two bedrooms share one. One bathroom is also located downstairs. The fourth bed is a pull out couch in the living room.

What a beautiful and relaxing place. When we pulled up and saw the view, my husband’s jaw dropped. The house is designed to really take advantage of the gorgeous mountain vista and also to enhance a connection to nature - we had a beautiful spring weekend and could let the fresh air in! The decor is eclectic, artistic and tasteful. Personally, I loved the little luxurious details- super soft sheets, beautiful quilts and warm wool blankets, a claw foot tub with a window looking out to mountains and mammoth rockers on the deck. My absolutely favorite part of our weekend was falling asleep to the sound of the waterfall and waking up to the spectacular sunrise. This is a spot for peace and quiet connection with loved ones. So grateful to Clay and Brooke for sharing it!
The listing is beautiful and doesn’t do the house or scenery justice! Love how peaceful and serene the property is, and love how the world disappears once you pull into the driveway. We will definitely be back!
