hosts were very proactive in sending details and check in/out instructions. the apartment was easy to access, quiet, and walking distance to harbour side and city centre. on the whole the apartment was quite spacious and overall well presented, however when you looked closely the ' finishing touches' were not clean- inside tooth mug was filthy, soap dish, inside draws had hairs and dust, windowsills dusty. cigarette butt on outdoor windowsill. the beds were comfortable but seemed smaller than doubles. kitchen had crockery etc but there was no coffee despite a pod machine being present.

Very spacious apartment that's well situated with it being a relatively short walk away from town along the marina, and very easy for taxis to drop off & pick up. Parking was fantastic, felt secure, and there was plenty of space, even for my LWB van. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom and en suite were both bright and had plenty of surface area for toiletries. The living room is very big and would suite large group of people, but both the sofa and TV felt extremely small for the space. Even with just 3 of us, we found it difficult to comfortably relax with one of us always having to sit or lie on the floor. The kitchen has good facilities and a small amount of tea and instant coffee was kindly provided. Despite there being an oven, we were unable to find any pans which wasn't an issue for us as we largely planned to eat out but is something worth bearing in mind. I would definitely recommend Hopewell and would look to book again in the future.

A very nice flat in a good location for walking into the centre or up in to Clifton. A bit tricky to find when driving as the entrance isn't clear and you're on a main road - a "Maps" dropped pin would help. The flat was really quite hot for us and our kids, even when we turned down the thermostat to 18, but if you like heat, then you'll be OK. The two double beds are a bit on the small side, but overall comfy enough. Good wi-fi and fittings/fixtures. As first time Air BnB bookers, I was discouraged to see the property described as "unsuitable for children" only after we'd searched for 2 adults and 2 kids, selected this one from the search results, and paid (no refunds!), so we just went anyway and made it work. The only reason I could see for that provision was the noise requirement (we asked our kids to be quiet) and the two double beds, but we found a way round that one as well. Minor niggles as it turned out but the kids one could've been a disaster if there had been an issue.

Great stay, Place is newly renovated everything was spotless. Beds very comfortable and large space in kitchen/living room area. The only let down is that there’s no shops nearby so you need to venture to town first a shopping. Overall great place and definitely recommend
