1822 Converted modern cotton mill, peaceful surroundings, birds chirping with local wildlife and farms surrounding us. A 3-4 minute Uber to village of Holmfirth. or a 15 minute walk Off-street parking along with a EV charger. plenty of walks nearby and instantly a few great strolls surrounding the mill with horses, sheep, chickens, birds often around for a sunset walk. Modern clean, private space. Offering a rest bite from any journey, or busy day out in town or the cities. Two single beds, with draws for guests clothing. separate bathroom(bath, sink, toilet) adjacent for sole use of the guests.

Had a great stay at Jack’s after a big walk in the local area Keeps a nice tidy and clean place, well stocked and comfortable for guests Was very accommodating and helpful with recommendations in town, we even met back up in the evening to see some live music. Absolutely stellar host, highly recommend
Jack's place is perfect for a short stay in Holmfirth. So peaceful and relaxing a setting. Jack is a super host who made my stay really enjoyable - nice little touches like water by the bed, filter coffee made this morning and quality toiletres in the bathroom. Highly recommend - thanks Jack!
Jack was friendly and the place was lovely and quiet.
The flat was in a beautiful area of Holmfirth, and only a short taxi ride into town. Had the best stay, made all the better because Jack is such an amazing host! Really friendly and inviting! Give us hints and tips, dropped us off in town as we were meeting friends and then left water by our beds to help with the hangovers! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again! Thanks Jack 😁
I absolutely loved my stay here…I spent two days plotting how to get rid of Jack so I could claim the place as my own! Coming from the city where it’s all sirens and noise pollution, it was such a healing sensation to stay somewhere so peaceful. I loved listening to the sound of the running streams behind the old mill building, at night. Great selection of books to read. 7 mins walk from the bus to Huddersfield, if you’re in public transport. There’s all the channels if you want a peaceful night in watching movies, and Uber Eats deliver to this place for around a £3 charge, if you’re needing a takeaway. If you’re staying the weekend, I would recommend a Sunday roast at The Boshaw Trout, and a cake at the classic Car Cafe - only a minute’s walk away but only open on Sat/Sun. I did a lot the weekend I was there - a gig at the Holmfirth Picturedrome, a bar crawl, a hike etc. Never saw Jack at all as he was away when I was there, so it was like a proper holiday with total privacy.
