Stepping into Irv’s lake house you feel like a welcome guest in a beautifully furnished and well loved home. The lake view through the expansive windows in the living/dining area is a calming presence day and night. Despite the large windows and skylights the house is comfortably warm in winter and we felt very cozy by the living room fire during a rainy week in March. The quality craftsmanship in the updated kitchen and baths is all very durable and well designed with ample hot water in the generous walk in showers. Comfy beds, generous towels and an in-house washer/dryer rounded out our excellent stay. Irv was a gracious host who always responded very quickly with on point helpful information. This is a top ten rental that is undoubtedly dreamy in the spring and summer with swimming and boating off its private dock. Highly recommend.

Very beautiful location right on the lake. Quick get away from NYC. Will definitely come again!

The owner has done a great job with this place. No detail was overlooked, including the heated bathroom floor and the fireplace with wood. We even found a fresh blueberry cake waiting for us from a local farm. The home is lovely and has spectacular views of the lake. We hope to return for another visit soon.

This was our 4th stay in lake homes in Hudson Valley, all within a 5-10 miles of each other. This home was #1/tied for #1; hard to choose as they had different amenities. We loved the beautiful views afforded by the walls of windows overlooking to lake and grounds. No issues to interfere with our enjoyment. Very responsive and accommodating host. Would definitely chose it again.
